Absolutely a hidden gem! The tent was in the middle of a field, surrounded by pine trees. A little pond and a stream made the accomodation a fairy place. Me, my husband and our 2 children spent the summer solistice at Matilda’s field and we absolutely enjoyed the sound of nature, fresh air, amazing views, stars in the night. The tent is very welcoming, we had everything we needed for our time there. All clean and cozy. We spent our evenings on the veranda and enjoyed the fire pit for our barbeque. My kids were having an amazing time, they slept so well and loved exploring the forest nearby. Our guest, Mike is very welcoming and with a big heart and smile, ready to help with everything. Deffinitely we will come back!way to inspire trust.
We had the best time at these safari tents . The kids loved every minute. What a lovely escape from a busy home life to a lovely escape in middle of a forest with pure relaxing feeling Everything supplied and thought out and the extra special extra were very gratefully received We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience which felt like an adventure. As the modern world melted away we felt so present and the area is just stunning. A real ‘get away from it all’ break!
Our host was very accommodating and friendly and were left wanting for nothing , such a delight.
The accommodation itself felt clean and well provisioned while still retaining that camping feeling.
The local area offers really interesting places to visit and even just driving around is enough to awe – not that you even need to leave the site!
Will be returning for sure.
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Matilda’s Field. The safari tent was spacious, comfortable and perfect for our family. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and the children and our dog loved having plenty of space to explore. It was a lovely place to relax, switch off and enjoy nature. We would happily return!
Disliked: Nothing — we really enjoyed our stay.
